A well loved, but small Victorian Terrace in need of a refresh and a rethink to accomodate a young couple with an active toddler. We reinvented the stuffy terrace into a youthful, playful space, by giving the home a fresher feel with plenty of light and smarter spacial solutions, including a desk space under the new stairwell and a private reading nook in the bedroom. The master bedroom, wardrobes, ensuite to loft area, stairwell, main bathroom, kitchen and living areas were all carefully considered. The use of a lighter colour palette throughout helped to open up the house and the contrasting black details used on fixtures throughout, including striking graphic floor tiles in the bathrooms, connects the rooms and unifies the look.
